Class A CDL Yard Hostler and Warehouse – Paso Robles
Santa Barbara Freight is a logistics company specializing in the movement of uniformed palletized freight from coast to coast and most points in-between.
We are looking to add a Class A Yard Hostler to our team fast growing team in Paso Robles, CA.
Duties include
- Moving loaded/unloaded trailers between warehouse and drop yard utilizing yard goat
- Setting up trailers at dock doors
- Trailer safety inspections performed on all trailers
- Trailer washouts
- Weighing loaded trailers
- Fueling trucks
- Assist warehouse staff with loading/unloading of commercial trailers utilizing forklift
- Securing loaded freight
- Assist with basic warehouse housekeeping and maintenance
Minimum requirements:
- Ability to work nights, Monday – Friday, starting at 5:00 PM
- Valid CDL Class A license
- At least 2 years CDL experience within the last 4 years.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Desire to work collaboratively with team to collectively get the tasks done.
- Forklift experience
