CLASS A CDL – LTL Driver – Home Daily
Paid for all on-duty hours
Santa Barbara Freight is looking for Class A LTL Drivers to join our team.
You would work out of one of our terminals making pickups/deliveries of mostly palletized freight from/to the surrounding areas, we will have you home nightly.

Work is consistent and year-round with plenty of hours and freight for everyone! Our drivers average 60 hours per week and are paid for ALL hours.
Minimum Requirements –
- Two (2) years CDL commercial driving experience in the last four (4) years
- Valid current commercial driver’s license – CLASS A
- Clean MVR free of violations, infractions, and incidents
- At least 23 years of age (for insurance purposes)
- Possess current DOT physical card
- Be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen, background check and safety driving test
- Enrolled in Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse

Expectations –
- Perform pickup and deliveries utilizing truck and 53’reefer trailer
- Follow proper procedures on POD’s and BOL’s
- Perform Daily DVIR
- Count and label freight at P&D locations with some hands-on-freight
- Be able to lift, move, stack and wrap fragile cased freight
- Hook/unhook trailers
- Upload documents and load pictures to ELD system
- Communicate changes, delays, missing freight, damage freight, immediately to dispatcher
- Home nightly
