Box Truck Driver Class C – Home Daily
Paid for all on-duty hours
Santa Barbara Freight Corp is looking for a highly motivated, professional, flexible, dependable, and reliable Class C Box Truck Driver with a clean driving record to join our Team. This position is full time with drivers averaging 8 to 14 hours per day.
Our Company Class C Drivers are required to operate on DOT Class A Hours of Service utilizing an ELD app. Experience working with palletized freight is greatly appreciated.
Minimum requirements to be considered:
- At least two (2) years’ driver experience operating in a large box truck greater than 10,000 lbs. or equivalent.
- Current Class C Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to Pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and fit-for-hire physical.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Ability to skillfully operate a hand truck and pallet jack.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Basic math ability for counting cases and pallets of varying sizes and quantities.
- Exceptional people and service skills for interacting with customers, warehouse staff, dispatchers, and other drivers.
